Examples of when a fighter had their opponents number despite the opponent being a better fighter, better examples would be if they fought more than once.

    Mark Wills > Greg Page
In a way Rahman over Tua
Some might have Maskaev > Rahman

But in some of these cases the supposedly inferior fighter showed that he is not.

Tua knocked him out then they had a draw. Hardly having a guy's number.

The draw was a robbery.. Rahman schooled Tua in the first fight, but then fell victim to a late shot and a controversial stoppage in the next round.

He still knocked him out, I didn't have a problem with the stoppage then and don't now. The late punch was a fraction after the bell, Tua committed to throwing the punch at the bell nothing wrong with it. I haven't watched the second fight in years but to my recollection it was a very close fight, the knockdown was clearly after the bell and rightfully was not counted.

Being 0-1-1 against a guy is not having his number.
