    No, if Jones couldn't take out Hopkins how can you expect Calzaghe to.

    In both the Kessler and Hopkins fight it has been noticeable that Calzaghe has started quite slowly, taken until the 4/5th round until he has started to find a ryhthym. It shows how intelligent a fighter he is that he was able to turn both fights around, but he is 2-3 years past his physical prime.

    It will always be a pity that he wasted the time between 28-33 fighting some very average opponents.

    i agree before his hand damage he was a legit puncher.

    No. After feeling a prime JC left hand Bhop would be even more defensive. Hopkins is one of those few fighters who is too tough and too savvy to ever get stopped.

    IMO calzaghe was a harder puncher when he was in his 20`s but i do not beleive that he would have ever stopped hopkins.
