Canchila 1 & 2, Calderon 1, Marquez, he was in some outstanding fights. Good resume, and looking at his style from an aesthetic point of view, I would never have said he would go on to do what he has done.

Estrada was younger, fresher, stronger, technically sounder. A lot was stacked against Segura tonight.

I don't understand Spanish but from what I gather JMM v Estrada is ON! 144 catch weight

Where does the winner of Gonzalez/Estrada II rate on your pound for pound lists?

I think he would have a legitimate shout for 3rd, maybe even 2nd...

Then the winner of that needs to fight the winner of Monster Inoue vs. the Ruenroeng vs. Arroyo winner

Estrada's punch selection is mighty impressive. Believe me, I know Segura is far from tough to land on, but he was turning defense to offense very well and I thought the same thing after the Viloria upset and the first defense (Melindo on Zou undercard??).

The possibilities for an 8 man tourney at Flyweight are enough to make me need to go change my pants right quick.

I'd not be shocked if we ACTUALLY see Inoue Vs the Reveco/Yodmongkol winner personally. Only 1 Japanese site seems to have linked Inoue to Amnat with no others doing the same and Ohashi saying something along the lines of "it may be possible to get Inoue a world title fight immediately at 112"

Yeah he's got that "Nacho" style, though more in the boxer-puncher mold of Finito Lopez that loves to trade, than a counter puncher like Marquez.

Gonzalez vs Luis Concepcion on Nov 22 in Japan? Did I hear that right?

    Bummer, I hope not.

I hope it's not at 115. I guess it wouldn't matter either way.

I'm watching the delayed coverage on beIn Sport Español now.

Man, the body language of Segura was crazy tonight. He was like a whipped cur. He seemed reluctant to leave his stool whenever the bell rang. He was doing weird uncharacteristic **** almost nonstop - using both gloves open-handed to push away, holding, running, being negative in general...and switching to orthodox? Taking half-steps toward Estrada and back, just looking totally clueless and having zero confidence in anything he was doing?

If not for the wild uppercuts and insane display of chin this would've in no way resembled the Giovani Segura we have come to know.

I don't hate Gonzalez vs. Concepción, actually. That sounds like guaranteed action. :conf

Super fly isn't too high for Chocolatito, I don't think. He'll end up there sooner or later.
