The munroe win was a good win. But he has proved since to be the definition of shot and was at best faded in the quigg fight. Regardless, still a good win, but at that stage not as good a win as Framptons over Kiko.
Lost close decisions to Munroe 6 years ago. A Munroe who at that time was a hell of a lot more dangerous than when Quigg faught him. Munroe was never the same after Japan and I think few people would argue otherwise/
The munroe of 2008/9 was better than the Martinez of 2008/9 yes. The Martinez of 2014 is leagues better than the Munroe of 2012.
You can debate how good Munroe was, but to then say this was a cracking victory over one of the most one-dimensional champs I've ever seen is beyond me.
I didn't say it was a cracking victory. All I said was it was better than any of quiggs which I standby..... And that quigg needs to fight fighters from the same division.
Your making yourself look foolish after last nights performance that we all knew and said was going to happen. I like Quigg, but due to his lack of amateur experience, mediocre trainer and recent poor level of opposition he will lose to both Frampton and LSC if and when he boxes them. End of.
Why because if no actual Champions in the division agree to terms to fight him he has to fight midgets?
Think the criticism of Quigg is a bit pathetic to honest. He's a talented fighter, in outstanding condition and has been boxing since he was a young lad. He doesn't have the hardcore fan base that Frampton does been from Northern Ireland. He's basically from Manchester, an area with a huge amount of successful boxers, and is a little bland in the personality department, so the fans will only come after the big wins. Eddie has matched him poorly, and he's been unlucky with drop outs, but getting that useless belt hasn't helped his reputation with anyone in the know. Either way, he doesn't deserve the stick he gets and some people are going to look daft when he is successful.
I actually haven't seen enough of Santa cruz to comment on how either would do. But I have seen enough of Quigg and Frampton to be very confident of a Frampton win.
