no way mayweather is going to fight the same fight. floyd will review the video and adapt, he will not leave himself open to the same shots. maidana better come up w a plan b and plan c, he needs to confuse floyd and throw him off his game. if maidana goes in there thinking he could do what he did last fight and get the victory he has another thing coming because best believe floyd will be prepared for that.

if maidana comes in lighter, faster and with more stamina it could help but what he really needs to hope for is a combination of that and floyds age catching up to him. if maidana can land some big shots early and cut floyd which we all seen flusters the hell out of floyd we could be in for a closer fight than the first. i just hope maidana and garcia realize they can't go in there with the same game plan as the first fight and hope to have a better outcome.

Unless floyd has him wear pillows again all chino has to do is go out there tap him on the chin twice and watch him go down.

Sad to say it but unless Maidana can catch Floyd flush & KO him he hasn't got much chance. We all saw what happened in first fight Vegas wont let Floyd lose any decision.
Heck hometown commission & officials, forced to wear pillows on his fists, now Kenny Bayless instructed to stop Maidana roughing up & bullying poor little Floyd its sickening.
To be anywhere near an ATG a champion has to give his opponents a level playing field only cowards seek unfair advantages Floyd is a coward

As long as PBF keeps this fight in the middle of the ring he has no chance.

    He won't have a plan B because he doesn't even have a plan A.

He's going to go in and hope to do the exact same thing, this time perhaps trying to put a bit more venom onto his punches, trying to put him on the ropes for longer and perhaps trying to avoid certain punches or something.

Mayweather on the other hand will have a completely new approach. I expect Mayweather to absolutely destroy Maidana this time, which is why I didn't want to see the rematch. May won. I probably edged it to Maidana, although I was probably biased, but Maidana could have walked out with his stock high as hell, but instead I personally think he'll be subjected to a shutout this time. I hope I'm wrong though. War Maidana anyways.

Honest question, do you really beleive Marcos won the 1st fight?

I honestly thought Maidana won the first fight, but I'm also 100% aware that I was very biased. I also was probably scoring it quite MMA-eske because of how much of the fight was in Maidana's world and not Mayweathers.

    I scored it 115-113 Mayweather.

Regardless how you look at it Chino nearly pushed Floyd over the edge and the main difference be it physically or mentally was the gloves or at least that is the case that can be made.

Maidana more or less earned the right to a rematch by doing something not even Cotto could do and in my eyes he won 3 of the early rounds and 2 rounds after that but gassed allowing Mayweather to adapt.

Maidana needs to focus on the long stretch of the fight rather than using all his energy in the early rounds. maybe back pedal and force floyd to come forward which is normally out of his comfort zone and then attack purely to conserve energy later.

All that being said Im looking forward to the fight which is more than i can say about Algieri-Pacquiao

Are you implying Maidana was robbed? And commission didn't force Maidana to do anything, he should've stood his ground against Floyd and if Floyd calls the fight off (which was an empty threat IMO) then that's on Floyd and not on Maidana. And Bayless will do his job as he's always done. You think Maidana should be allowed to fight dirty?

I hear you on the scorecard. I had it 116-112, but I can see a swing round or two, that would make it closer.

I just dont know if Maidana could put up a more spirited effort against Floyd than he did the first fight. I really beleive Floyd took this rematch with the intent on humiliating Marcos for complete shut out or going for the knockout. He is extremely smart and took the best Marcos had to give.

In terms of the Pacauiao fight, it may be better than we think. Algeri is rangy, with a lot of movement and obviosly has grit as showed in the fight with Ruslan. It might be entertaining, but I definitely agree its not as big as "Mayhem"

It will be an absolute carbon copy of the first. Maidana wins the first 5 , tires then Mayweather outboxes him down the stretch. Its not a fight I will get up for.

I wouldn't even say Maidana won the first five, I had it 3-3 after six rounds.

maidana can improve and fight a better fight, he has been steadily improving over his last 4 fights imo the big question is with mayweathers declining age and abilities was that the best he had to give?
