Sorry if there is already a post for this but...

This lad has come on no end over the last 12 months or so, to say he was with Steve wood and was seen as a relative "boring points fighter" to now holding British an commonwealth and obviously euro, but more importantly looking very strong & powerful

My winner of young fighter of the year, if not fighter!!!

Yeh he seems the perfect pro don't he..

Interesting to see him and sell by a year or two down the line, that has to be what Hearn is edging towards, his size ,ought prove vital, he's massive!,

As above he is huge for weight comes across very level headed keeps day job etc but seems dedicated and has a gd size fanbase for a fighter who has low ko percentage can't see goin by euro level tho at wl and fringe world level u need power to back up fighterd

Eddie said he's done over 1500 tickets personally for the Leeds fight which is incredible.

Your right about the stoppage level being short however over last few outings he's looked a lot stronger and is bringing together some brilliant punchers performances ... Finding his man strength at the right time I'd say.

Yeh Solaris he's a major ticket seller .. Filled out the Leeds show on a mid week, when both Leeds United and rhinos were playing at home the same weekend - that's some pull!!

His not massive at the weight. Imo he cud make super ban but after chatting to him and his team after he fought my cuz his comfortable at the weight and growing into it and is still a young lad. The likes of selby put on 10- 12 lbs after the weigh in . He only puts on 3-4 lbs. Josh is a talented kid with a great engine and seems to improve with every fight good luck to him

Think that's meant in terms of size and frame rather than walk around weight, if he's only putting on as little as that though means he mustn't be cutting too much neither - which only means he can stay at the weight a while, which is no bad thing..

Excellent fan base, mature man, improving loads at the right time, making weight no problem all mean the future if managed right ( which Hearn/ wood seem to be doing) is a bright bright future for Josh!!

Improving with each fight, good fighter.

Being a ticket seller will open some doors, hopefully he keeps plugging away & improving at the rate he has been doing.

Reckon he winds up with one of those WBA 'regular' belts, get the feeling they're doing similar with fielding

Doing well so far, selling lots of tickets and is the main event on a show with a guy who was a world champion a few months ago and a guy who was in a world title next time out is pretty good, can't see Hearn risking him much as he's potentially a golden goose for him

He has just signed a 5 fight deal with Matchroom so I would assume he is going full time, so I'd say his fast improvement will continue maybe even increase. Leeds and West Yorkshire in general is a huge area that historically has not produced quality fighters compared to Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield or London, so is really crying out for someone to step forward. Yorkshiremen are very proud and will seriously back Josh, as will the droves of Leeds fans, they don't have much else to cheer about!

U don't need power. It definitely helps. But there has been plenty of world level fighters without power. Tim Bradley being a prime example.

There is a few posts which refers to his lack of power, your forgetting hes
stopped 2 out of 3 prev oppononents, decent quality at that. In itself that speaks volumes to me. I know he has a good team around him and the kid himself is hard working, dedicated and always looki g to imprve, which i think it shows in his performances each time.

I remember when he fought male for the english.
at that time most of the boxing pundits didnt expect him to do english level.
If the lad can keep progressing as well as he has over the past 2yr then i think he has a good chance of going to world.
