Should McGuigan now try to get Frampton a deal on ITV etc?

McGuigan has no TV contractual ties, but has a ready made headline world champion

Imagine his first defence 10.00pm ITV1 on a Saturday night. Undercard on ITV4.

Frampton could then be a huge crossover star

Frampton means absolutely nothing to 99% of the English public.

    No chance in hell.

I think he'd be better seeing out any obligations to BoxNation with some easy fights, fight Quigg on Sky then try to crack the American market from the Irish angle as a free agent.

Not going to happen as I doubt ITV would see Frampton as that marketable. He'd be sensible to move away from Boxnation however.

What does Quigg's profile have to do with the thread topic?

**** the British media. Just go to America and fight for the real money.

Sure you can even lose fights over there and still pocket millions. It's only the British media that care about silly unbeaten records

Hopefully he goes the Vegas route...good to see a Brit smashing it abroad. UK terrestrial, Box nation or BT Sport are all backwards steps

Could well happen even on the BBC, Frampton already has government backing, they NI government paid for that arena on Saturday night, Frampton represents the kind of new Belfast their trying to promote, there is more chance of Frampton being on terrestrial then any other fighter IMO. It's not as unlikely as people think.

I agree, and we are just weeks past the BBC covering 200+ bouts at the Commonwealth Games, and covering them well with great direction & camerawork, where NI took home a record haul of 9 medals from boxing, so it might just be the momentum we need for the BBC to dip their toe back in.

    Or am I being deluded!

RTE are broke. Bit like Ireland. So no chance there.

Sod off with that nonsense. It's very insulting to the industry.

    You're just an annoying troll.
