Maidana needs to throw WAAYYYY more body shots if he wants to win!

    This is what MAIDANA HAS TO DO!! Maidana has no shot unless he throws massive body shots to Floyd! lets get some things straight real quick

    1- Floyd is full of it saying he layed on ropes for the fans/put up an exciting fight. Heres the thing, im one of the biggesy Floyd fans out here! Been watching him since TNT, waaayyy before most of hus other fans been watching him. He's always liked to lay on the ropes because his defense is damn good. So Floyd is full of Crap saying it was for the fans. Maidana is the type of fighters thats a bully and is gonna come foward. Mayweather has to take them small breaks and tries to use his defense against Opponets. Mayweather is to old to move around for 12 straight rounds and he shouldnt need to with as good as his defense is. This will almost be exactly the same in the rematch. Mayweather anit running so expect him on the ropes.

    2- That body is open for Maidana. He needs to take them wild shots to the body when Floyd on the ropes. Now he will eat some counters, and probably the philly shell couter uppercut that mayweather didnt use to much in the first fight. For Floyd he should throw that alot more and i think he can truly hurt Maidana. For Maidana, if he can throw way more body shots then Mayweahter will block the body then Maidana has the chance to hit him clean to the face which wont happen often and wont happen at all IF MAIDANA DOESNT THROW BODY SHOTS!!

    3- More jab from Maidana. he needs to jab, then throw is wild shots for mayweather to lay on ropes then 90% body shots when Mayweather on ropes. That totally needs to be the plan, hopefully garcia is thinking something like that.

    4- dont try to box Mayweather really at all. meaning no center of the ring. he has to do EXACTLY what he did in first fight but throw way more body shots.

    This is what I think the plan for Maidana should be. if he throws over 100 body shots I think he truly has a chance at beating the great Mayweather. First fight was so close it was crazy. Closest fight i ever seen for Floyd. CANT WAIT FOR SATURDAY!!! :bbb:bbb

    Bayless will stop Maidana fighting his fight but will give Floyd carte blanche to elbow smash & hold all he wants May as well bring Cortez back Floyds got every base loaded now Cowardly Woman beater:fire

    A couple things.

    Maidana would do well to take a half step back occasionally when Floyd hits the ropes. I agree he should aim down low more.

    Center of the ring worked well for him early. He was actually getting the better of Floyd in parts, if you look at it closely Maidana was able to outdo Floyd in the center of the ring early in the fight. Floyd pulled ahead later when Maidana started suffering mental fatigue.

    I think Floyd wore him out mentally, more than physically. If Maidana can keep up the level of performance but stay more relaxed mentally and not wear himself out he has a good chance.

    Bayless is best ref in the game. He wont stop all of Maidana's doings but yes Maidana does fightdirty so u want Bayless not to do that??? :patsch

    Bayless will check up mayweather too! Has before and will again

    Maidana doesnt fight any dirtier than Floyd. Floyd is just whiny like little girl.

    I agree. Maidana does need to take a step backm once in awhile. Maidana did do alright in the center of the ring with the jab but thats not the ideal way to go about this rematch. mayweather will try to fight more in the center and Maidana cant hang unless he throws alot of jabs.

    floyd, did hurt marcos to the body right? what marcos, should be worried about is, he had a 17 pound weight advantage and could not visibly hurt floyd or poleaxe him right!!

    I expect around a 10-2 decision. Unless FLoyd's legs are completely shot, I just don't see this fight being even remotely competitive.

    I had Floyd winning the first fight 8-4. Any time you have a close round in a title fight, it should almost always favor the champion. This is how non-corrupt judging has been since the beginning of boxing.

    ANyway the last half of the fight was pretty one-sided for Mayweather. I expect that to continue on for this upcoming fight. He's already seen this guy's style in the ring, and I would be shocked if he didn't keep the fight for the majority of the time in the center of the ring for the rematch. He's getting up there in age though, so you have to wonder if father time will eventually catch up to him.

    Don't agree with close rounds automatically going to the champ, (also Maidana was WBA champ going into the fight, Floyd WBC,) so in this fight that also shouldn't be the case.
