    Roy jones Jnr is the best and there is nothing wrong with another fighter saying so. things have changed and joe thinks he can beat RJJ that is why the fight will go ahead oh and JC will earn more in that 1 fight than he has in the rest of his career

    joe hit the nail on the head right there,but that was 5years ago&alots happened for both fighjters,he obviously fancies the job now.

    also Roy also said once that he didn't want to fight Calzaghe because it wasn't work the risk/reward

    Jones threw 480 punches against Tito (dont have his other fight stats but I dont believe they are higher)

    Hopkins threw 470 against Calzaghe, 640 against Wright and 550 against Tarver

    i think this is the best scenerio for Joe, make the money againat shot RJJ, and cap his career off against another young champion.

    Its all good in theory but lots of things can stop this from happening. Pavlik might not even want to risk losing what he has by going up in weight to fight Joe...

    hbo would make it pavliks buisness, the money they would offer the two of them for fight would be to great for pavlik or calzaghe to pack up! so hbo will make money from fight sales and ppv!
