Well his game is very big on elbows back fists leg kicks submissions and take downs so from the skillset available it would look like he would be so limited from his strengths -but to consider if he was a boxer young and never took up MMA I guess given his athletic ability, size and reach could he be a world champion cruiserweight given he is 205, I say no, might crack the RING 10
He would have been an adequate boxer probably. But there's no guarantee he would have been a champion. Anderson Silva was nothing special in the boxing ring.
He picked up MMA at an unbelievably quick rate and was pretty much still learning the game while holding the LHW strap. Anyone that thinks he couldn't do well in boxing is deluded. Maybe he wouldn't be Floyd Mayweather but with his discipline and reach he could for sure have been a world title level boxer if he had pursued boxing as fervently as he did wrestling and then MMA. Boxers and MMA fighters aren't different species. They're just human beings with different skill sets. Some of this boxer V MMA fighter stuff is so childish it makes me despair.
Glass jawed and couldn't punch to save his life.Typical UFC fraud that only skin heads and fanboys follow.:tired
