Harrison whacks hard but certainly not the hardest, hook shots right up there but not overall lol. Someone said Benn, interestingly I remember Eubanks saying a young Calzaghe hit harder. I was thinking Haye at Cruiserweight must be right up there for p4p power
Eubank has said on many recent interviews that benn hit the hardest and collins also said that. Naz i would say Lewis- he ko some very good fighters and could really punch Paul scrap iron ryan Crawford ashley Jason matthews
id say Heavies: lewis cooper Bruno mason non heavies, wilde hamed, benn, Pat barrett Paul hodkinson probably missed loads but I enjoyed watching these
i was training in the original 5th st gym in miami in `92 and a couple of trainers and fighters said that when benn came over to train there before, he hit harder than anyone that they had ever seen or come across in any gym.
The answer has to be Wilde, with a mention to Fitzsimmons. As for the modern fighters, no mention for Ensley Bingham yet. He was a banger who many thought was going to take out Winky Wright. Naseem did have spectacular power. Benn was a fun crude brawler at 160, but I always thought Eubank was the harder puncher. Dave McAuley could punch for a little man.
