Not a good undercard at all, maybe a bit better than some of Top Rank's in the past but still pretty weak.

Vazquez-Bey- Its an important fight in the division but Vazquez, who is a good fighter, flat out sucks to watch. He shouldn't be on tv let alone ppv.

Santa Cruz- Roman- In fairness I don't think I've seen any of Roman's fights and can only go by his record. He seems like he' completely out of his league here and probably gets beaten up by Santa Cruz(who really needs a marquee fight not this).

Angulo- De la Rosa- Not a bad fight, especially with Angulo coming off that beating from Alvarez. As a ppv opener this is solid.

I see one decent fight, one (probable) mismatch, and one absolute bore-fest.

My guess would be as a way to entice people to buy the ppv.

You put on a good action fight like Molina-Soto then people, who may have not have planned on ordering or were on the fence, are more likely to want to order the ppv.

You put on someone like Vazquez and people are more likely to say no thanks to spending $75 after watching that.

That would be my guess because Molina-Soto is clearly the best fight of the night, on paper atleast.

Angulo is part of the ppv portion. Molina-Soto is on regular Showtime at 7 right before the ppv starts at 8.

Angulo vs. De La Rosa kicks off the PPV.

Molina vs. Soto is on regular Showtime, before the PPV.

Its because TPTB don't want Soto to be a superstar.

That's why for the last 8-9 years (since he beat Rocky Juarez in 2005) he's been under the radar, cause Manny Pacquiao, JMM, EM, and many others are scared to fight Soto.

Only Guzman & Matthysse were willing to fight Soto, cause they cheated against him with intentional fouls to beat him.

The undercard had to be made with Mexican champions, because Floyd & Maidana cant sell on their own, cause in their first fight they drew about 800K PPV buys with no Mexican fighters on the undercrad, but now that there's many Mexicans on the undercard for their rematch, it will sell more than their 800K poor buys.

Vasquez-Bey should be good. This is Delarosas time to shine now or never. Box circles around Angulo and land those crunching body shots which are James bread and butter. LSC a fan favorite, Suavecito should be game. Potential upsets with Bey and Delarosa winning since Angulo on decline and Bey being an excellent boxer hungry for a win. No shame losing to a bonafide world class puncher like Molina who can bang with the best of them. Molina has more power and hurt Matthysse worse than Swift did.

Very substandard. Santa Cruz vs. Roman as the co-feature is extremely weak. LSC is essentially fighting a six or eight round fighter in Roman. Vasquez/Bey has all the makings of a dreary contest. It's good to see Angulo, but will his power carry with him to the 162 LB limit?
