Who do people think would have won at Welterweight between Brook and Ricky Hatton (prime) and why?

Hatton was never prime at 147. I think Brook by KO

Hatton who lost to mayweather = Hatton
Hatton who lost to Collazo = Brook

Yes I know the Collazo fight was before but it was a better welterweight version of Hatton

Brook. Hatton was not a welterweight even Mayweather stopped him at that weight.

Brook. Hatton is a 140 figther. Kell is far to big and with Hatton being reckless, Kell would of hit him at will and maybe even stopped him.

It's a tough one but I think Brook would outbox and outpoint Hatton

Brook. Hatton had a very narrow window in which he was effective. He didn't gain any power or endurance with the extra 7lb, it only slowed him down.

I agree hatton when peaked it was a short reign at the top of his powers. I think he was overrated, brook i think would stop him easy, just too big at a weight hatton was never comfortable at

Kell. Hatton was excellent at JW but his strengths were not as effective at WW

Not a fair comparison. Hatton was prime at 140. pound for pound he is miles above Brook but at 147 i would say 50/50. Dont think we have seen the best of Brook yet, hope not anyway.

Im not the biggest fan of Hatton as I think he didn't use any of his natural skills to their fullest over his career, but the Hatton that fought Mayweather was able to land punches only a handful of fighters have been able to do.

Hatton by close but clear decision.
