Who will you be cheering for, Floyd Mayweather, Jr or Marcos Maidana?

It's weird, even in England me and my mates (only a couple of which are actual boxing fans) always have a fight party and base a big night out around watching mayweathers fights, pumped for the 13th (even though I expect floyd to win an easy UD this time)

 

I'd love to see Maidana win.

But unless God strikes down the illiterate woman-beater with a bolt of lighting, Maidana has no chance of winning.

I don't understand people cheering for Maidana (unless they are from Argentina). Well, you may be a Mayweather hater but will it be interesting if the fighter like Maidana overcomes one of the greatest boxers ever? Chino has physical strength, power, aggressive style, knows how to put pressure on his opponents, but in terms of boxing technique he's not an outstanding fighter at all. There is nothing special about him. Mayweather defeated Cotto, Mosley, Hatton, De La Hoya, Marquez, Judah etc... and then loses to someone like Maidana? Why would you give a hackneyed fighter such a prominent role in boxing history? Isn't it disrespectful to other fighters?

It's a dull match up, does nothing for his legacy

I would only possibly root for Floyd if he really wanted to challenge himself in his final fights

But that's not his motivation, it's only money and the zero

Maidana i don't understand how any can cheer for a woman beating scumbag. It really baffles me that the like of Stevenson and Mayweather have fans how can you support such people.
