Which current active boxer would make the best trainer?

    hopkns i think would be good, could see him fall out with a lot of fighters though

    Hopkins and JMM would seem like the obvious answers because of their understanding of the fundamentals.

    Neither one relies on speed, power etc - they use intelligence, counter-punching and strategy.

    yeah malanggi good , would be better at dealing with people too i reckon,ward could be good, i think roy jones would make a good trainer too if he settles down, others kessler, marquez, and

    Andy Lee seems like a pretty level headed guy with good pro and am experience and years as a great friend of the great Emmanuel Steward. Might make a decent trainer.

    I could see Timothy Bradley doing potentially well as a trainer too: huge dedication to training etc, great experience as a fighter and not too big a personality either

    Probably though some just-below-world-class boxer not very widely known perhaps and maybe

    Yeah sometimes the best trainer were not good boxers (ex: Roach).

    Often the top fighters are never going to be great trainers, i think Bhop is a bit too hot headed to make a great trainer, Paulie ye i could see him being decent. Andy Lee is a good shout the guy is smart and level headed and was under the best trainer ever for years could well make a great trainer.
