    Which one is more damaging?

Maidana ''biting'' Mayweather's hand with wrapping, gloves and xylocaine.
    Mayweather: ''Maidana bit my hand"

    or

    Mike Tyson biting Holyfield's ear?

Judging by the reactions of both Floyd and Holyfield, the same hahahahahaha! Floyd even developed a little limp afterwards if you watch just after Kenny intervened. Such a pussy play acting cry baby *******.

Did you see Mayweather sr's reaction in the corner? he was very concerned of the bite like it was bleeding badly with skin ripped off or something lol

Was he? I thought he was telling Floyd to get back out there and fight.

Lamont Peterson bit off part of Willy Blain's thumb through the gloves and mouthpiece and everything and still people act like this is impossible.

I don't think chino bit him, just floyd being a drama queen. If anything, I think Floyd might of felt his mouth because he was pressing his glove against maidanas face.

It's like comparing a 100mph car crash with a little fenderbender.

I would even go further in this case and say -if he bit him, wich I think he did- Floyd had it coming.
It was a very understandable reaction to Floyd 'cholorforming' him, although of course it's against the rules. Many boxers would have answered it with a lowblow, wich is more common but would actually be worse in reality in my book.

Floyd makes his money with his hands.....so biting and injuring his hands is worse than biting a piece of ear.....:tong

Tyson caused more damage but both incidents were equally bad because they were so out of context to boxing. Both fights were dirty. Floyd was using elbows, low blows and that smothering technique, while Maidana was using low blows, head butts, body slams, knees, elbows and teeth. Their styles made it impossible for the fights to be anything but an ugly affair. Maidana is a fighter first with some boxing skills. Mayweather is a boxer first but will fight if he's forced. Mayweather was able to keep the contest in the boxing mode for more rounds than Maidana was able to keep it in the fight mode and the refs played a major role in both events.
