Old Floyd Was Exciting!

    Check out this fight. This is when Mayweather was exciting to watch. He now literally throws half the amount of punches he used to throw. Before anyone points out his age, to put into perspective how few punches Floyd throws nowadays, at almost 44 years of age (7 years older than Floyd is now) and weighing 24 more pounds than Mayweather does now, Hopkins outpunched a volume puncher in Kelly Pavlik. Not saying Hopkins is better than Floyd (he isn't) and not saying Floyd isn't an all time great and amazing boxer (he most certainly his), but just think about that for a second.

    Yep, this was awful. I'm just saying, he had more exciting fights at 130 and 135 than he does now. Once he moved up to 140, the number of exciting fights diminished big time!
