Now I am no boxer, but I am pretty sure that in order to put his hand into a boxing glove a fighter need to make a fist so that he can fit his hands into those massively padded gloves. Now common sense would tell someone that alone makes it literally impossible to bite a person's finger, as his fingers are tucked under his palms, and they are not only protected by his palm but his thumb.

Now if Maidana still somehow broke the laws of physics and was able to bite fingers in a clenched fist, covered with inches of gauze and tape and a 6 inch padded clove, despite the fact that he was wearing a mouth piece, than he was either using Qi, or has jaws more powerful than a Hyena, that can at the same time turn a rubber mouth card, tape, gauze, 6 inches of padding, through a clench fist into mince meat, where his blow was so devastating it caused unnamed fingers on Floyd's left hand nerve damage. So debilitating he could no longer use his left hand from round 8 onward, despite the fact he used it still. The post fight interview where Mayweather showed his un-marked finger to Jim Grey clearly shows severe nerve damage to his "fingers" that render his hand useless for 5 rounds.

Because we all know one must be able to feel their fingers clenched in a fist in order to through a punch. The weirdest part is, is that it goes against his whole philosophy of using Xylocane in order to numb his hands for him to be able to punch. If anything Mayweather should thanked Maidana not only for defying the laws of physics, but giving him a free Xylocane shot!

you don't make a fist to put gloves on, your hand is open when they go on

    "Laws Of Physics?"

Do you even know what you're talking about? Since when does biting through a specific material have anything to do with the laws of physics.

Man this site is still ****.

Of course, but it will take a 70's James Bond foe for it actually being able to hurt much.

With gloves AND mouthpiece. When Tyson bit Evan Filed's ears, he had to spit out his mouthpiece before.

on the thumb portion, the pressure would be felt. It wouldn't be his teeth that would have hurt Floyd but the pressure of the actual bite. It doesn't take much to know that dropping something on your foot when you have a shoe on still ****ing kills.

threadstarter is so ******ed, he never even had his hand ONCE in a boxing glove

Floyd felt it and it may hurt a little bit, but the numbness was just another excuse for no knockout in 7 years.

    Top thread fella.
By being able to see the votes we can those who should have been aborted before they were able to see the light of day.
Luckily,so far only one fits this bill which shows the level of ******edness on this thread is low,so far.

me and my mate tested this at training, with his mouthguard in he was able to bite down on my 14 oz winnings, he did not bite down hard but i kind of have a hard time believing floyds hands went numb from it (though after 8 rounds of boxing it may help contribute?)

edit: me and my mate both do not have proffesional level mouthguards, we have the single "place in hot water an bite down on" simple mouthguards

Everything that occurs in the physical universe is governed by the laws of physics.

If you look at where Floyd was pointing to the ref on his hamd it was the underside of the glove on the inside of the fingers where there is no padding.
