maybe im a little biased but iv seen almost everyone of barreras fights and have them on DVD (including some rare early days when barrera had the vicious glam rock mullet hairstyle) and i dont think he was overly dirty in any way shape or form, hed let his emotions get the better of him at times (hittin pac off the break, hitting marquez when he was down) other times he was just refusing to take **** (like when he rammed naz into the post for his bull**** antics) maidana i have not seen his career up until this point but the bite is prob worse then anything barreras ever done, but maidana has not been THAT dirty in his career apart fromthe mayweather fights...
Eusebeio Pedroza and Andrew Golata were the two dirtiest fighters I can think of. The Argentines though, Maidana, Diego Chaves, Bonavena, Monzon, seem to have a talent for it.
You really believe he bit him with a mouth piece on and with through leather Guess we will over look Floyd trying to smother him..
So Barrera looked like a clean fighter standing side by side with Maidana.. Says a lot actually.. :think
The dirtiest fighters are those whose managers/promoters hype their records by manipulating the stats by having them face bums and C/B level competition most of their careers. Example; GGG, Calzaghe, Wilder, etc. These are the dirtiest fighters in the sport.
