This was one of the worst PPV cards I have ever seen.
The undercards were extremely poor and the best fight of the night was vet Humberto Soto against John Molina.

I don't care what you say about Bernard Hopkins, but his upcoming November match will have great undercard match-ups as well as a very intriguing main event that will put Mayweather's Mayham to shame.

Angulo-De La Rosa should've been downgraded and Soto-Molina put on as co-main-event. Everyone knew that fight was going to steal the show

Vasquez/Bey should have been downgraded, no one thought it was a good fight.

De La Rosa's fight was actually a fun affair.

I think the idea of having an entertaining fight on Showtime is to persuade some last minute PPV buys for people on the fence.

Putting Vazquez v Bey on would've left people flat.

De La Rosa got to show case his punching ability, but I didn't enjoy seeing Angulo take yet another one sided ass whupping. One sided fights like this are not entertaining.

Mickey Bey and Vasquez was a boring fight with neither fighter really finding a way to take full control of the fight.

Santa Cruz's fight was easy work with him dismissing his sparring partner early, as expected.

Even the main event itself was so predictable as to be boring.

Still, even though this event was far less than the 1st, I still think it did better PPV numbers.

nothing official yet, but the numbers were a lot worse than the 854.000 from the first fight. I hear rumors of somewhere around 650k.

I like Alfredo Angulo. I kind of felt sorry for the him this past Saturday night. The poor guy is trying his hardest to give all he's got but his body just cant sustain it anymore.

It was a terrible card. Fans deserved better. Not only was there a terrible card but Mayweather fought Maidana again, and he ran against Maidana.

The only way Mayweather can make numbers now is by fighting Pacquiao, and Khan will make him about 1.1m.

Where did you get these rumours from, Showtime said a few months before the fight that they won't be releasing the PPV views of this fight to the public.

In a way I hope it does terribly because I want Floyd to step up now.

I heard they are considering making a trilogy out of Mayweather vs Maidana.

    I doubt it.

Mayweather winning 3 out of 3 is hardly a big draw candidate.

My guess is that Mayweather will probably fight Khan or Algeri next depending on how Algeri looks against Pac.
