    They are a few years away from the fight becoming that bad. Despite all our bitterness they are still the top two fighters in the division.

    It's true this fight is no longer the fight it would have been 3 or 4 years ago. Both are a few years past their best. Pac's been KO'ed and no longer has the same intensity, Floyd looked vulnerable in his last 2 fights and has clearly lost a step.

    Also with PPV numbers down in general, it's not even certain that it will break PPV records should this fight finally happen. And unless it's a very one sided affair the result of who would have won prime for prime would still go unanswered.

    It is not that bad though.Both Floyd and Pac are still pound for pound fighters.But I see your point

    Geez, I remember years back talking about this fight with some friends over some drinks.

    About all the people that would attend; celebrities and artists, current and past boxers, entertainers and athletes from all sports....would've been insane.

    Still would make money though, the only people who think (and rightly so) that the fight is lessened in worth are the real boxing fans. The majority of the casual boxing fans would still buy it and the media will still spin it to the megafight it can still be.
