My first reaction was that it was all set up for the cameras. I mean two guys, one with very little experience, aren't going to fight for 32 minutes straight?

Could be wrong, but I take most of what Floyd puts out on All Access with a massive pinch of salt.

 

I would tell them that it was just for the cameras. And that the rounds dont go on that long, its just edited to look that way. Also, money is being used for fantasy purposes only. No bets were placed.

The smoking was the most damaging in my opinion. It was over the top and not a good look at all. Ellerbe, Sr., Roger or somebody should have had his back on that one. That might be one the reasons the shake up is taking place. The gym fights are nothing, they are just blowing hot air on that one.

 

That was actually the most entertaining 24/7 or all access I've ever watched. The fact that we saw the "dog house" rules or the "gladiator" rounds was straight! It was pretty cool. The side bets in Vegas isn'ta big deal.......the weed and facilitating drug use, not really a big deal although illegal.....It's "Sin City" after all. .....but Floyd isn't a kid boxing prodigy anymore.

He's a grown up at 37. He's also privileged to be in a position to make a living in boxing outside the ropes. As a promoter. The problem is Floyd doesn't know how to act like a grown up in a professional position that doesn't require him to physically impose his will over another human. So when you see Floyd the boxer/quasi - licensed boxing promoter doing a bunch of illegal things while cameras are rolling it has a lot of people take notice......and not in a good way. It was entertaining (all access) but not very smart. Floyd can't fight forever and he'll never get another deal like he got with SHO again......there has to be a way for him to make a living outside of the sport and we all know he has NO market value outside of being a prize fighter due to his choices. So let's hope this situation is a warning for Floyd as well as a wake up call.

Three minutes rounds are not the only way to train a fighter. Different trainers use different methods. there is nothing wrong with either way.Those fighters had on protective epuipment and Floyd kept the talent equal. The man wanted to fight Ishe but Floyd didn't let that happen. There was no mandatory time limit and a fighter could stop whenever he wanted to. That's a good window to see the heart of a fighter. Just because it's not the way you are used to doesn't make it wrong. Most fighters do five minutes training rounds. It makes sense. The world is changing and you have to change with it or you will be the caveman.:think
