Kell Brook or Khan in UK both would sell Wembley out in UK, Froch Goves did 800k PPV in UK alone . you imagine Mayweather vs Khan even vs Brook would do 1.6m combined UK + US
Floyd wouldn't sell out Wembley. I was there for the Groves/Froch fight - it sold out because it captured the british publics imagination, was a british grudge match and because of how the first fight went.
I think people would tune in above a million if he took a risk and faced GGG or Hopkins at a catchweight. Beyond that, he's got to have Pac, Cotto, or Canelo.
Usually around £14-18.95. Khan could only DREAM of being as popular as Hatton, yet Ricky and Floyd didn't do as many as Oscar and Floyd. It just wouldn't do great numbers...
They're very strict over in the UK. You have to pass everything before you can fight there. The measure arm, leg, and body length. Minimum dick length has to be 4in and above. If under 4in they would think you're too young and just a boy fighting as a man. Why do you think Floyd never fight over there.
this is too risky. choketime will be staring at 3 consecutive losses. i firmly believe they are pushing for pac-flopjr next may if pac gets past algieri. why? because, if they allow flopjr to fight another plodder, and it tanks, flopjr could possibly opt out of his contract or ride it out citing injuries or w/e. i think may fight is that critical to them.
Floyd would sell out wembley vs khan or brook. Boxing fans from all over europe would want a ticket. The hype train would be in full flow too. I have no doubt it would sell out. Uk ppv numbers may well be less depending how well it is marketed though.
still risky. plus they arent used to taking the show on the road. remember, it's tmt now, not gbp. new place, new promotion. too many unknown variables. they can do this after the pac fight. or after the drainelo fight, instead they went with madona. big mistake.
