Carl Froch is a bellend

The guy takes himself too seriously. Hes also quite an awkward character and groves knew how to make him squirm in that awkwardness.

 

If anyone looked bad it was Groves, practically begging for a third fight.

After that ring entrance there was only one bellend in that arena tonight. It was embarrassing.

 

He genuinely likes Groves' cheek though. I don't think Carl's a bad bloke, he's just completely charmless, also has no wit, can imagine what Ali would have replied to Groves!

Funnily enough, after tonight I think a third fight might happen. Looks like Froch's got nothing else he fancies.

 

At the start of Frochs career, when he was on Sky originally, i used to turn his fights off because he was such a dick.

But with his fights in the Super 6 i then became a big fan. Saying that, ever since his Bute win he's gone back to being a dick.

I was shocked Sky had him on as a pundit to be fair. It was never going to end well.

Froch just cant endear himself to the average man. He's just a self obsessed arsehole. All boxers are confident, there's no shame in that, but Froch is just a ****y, up his own arse gobshite. Everything, and i do mean everything he said tonight had some reference to either himself, or more notably his DEVASTATING KNOCKOUT OF GEORGE GROVES. He seems incapable of having a conversation about someone that isnt him.

The sooner he fights Ward, and gets his ego put in check again the better. Absolute tosser.

 

agree with above poster guy loves himself could see it hurt him to giv groves any credit still a baby in terms world boxing but put so called international superstar on his arse and hurt many times but couldnt giv him credit constantly saying he will get koed fair play was a great ko but he was in fight and clearly wining first fight .carl comes across bitter if any1 says something he doesnt like he says abraham kos groves but thinks smith can win and he says groves deluded he might not remember how easily groves put away smith a used to be big fan of froch but think he has lost few fans way he comes across as pundit fair play to mcgrory only 1 who wasnt lickin his arse

 

Funny how Froch was saying Groves loses to Abraham but Smith can beat Abraham,ha

 

I like both groves and froch!

But don't get all the hate towards Froch!

It was groves acting like a bellend at the end of the fight!

Saying he still thinks he would beat froch! and time after time he says he was dominating the second fight.

I don't mind groves but he needs to face it froch beat him twice!

Calling him out after an ok performance was bit silly!

As Froch rightly said its 2-0! Froch gas moved on so should groves!

 

Yeah I don't get it when people say Froch is charmless or lacks personality. He cracks me up nearly every time I listen to him. It's just that his charm is subtle and dry, rather than cringey like Groves. Then again modern society seems to be made up of cringey social media bellends that love people like Groves. It's why I'm so glad Froch won their fights. A victory for straight-talking and substance over 'style'.

Also what people don't seem to get is Groves would have gloated an awful lot more than Froch if he had won the rematch!

 

I thought he wasn't too bad tonight although he really needs to let the hatred towards Groves drop. I'm not entirely sure why Sky have current fighters being pundits (bar the obvious marketing boost) when they have someone like Jamie Moore waiting in the wings. Both are quite likeable (in short bursts) when they aren't around each other. I hope it's DeGale next for Froch.

 

Ill give Groves a 7 out of 10 on that peformance, a few flaws he needs to fix before he goes back in there for a world title though.

I rate him highly has a very good jab, great speed and power but i cringe everytime he gets caught.
