Looking at booking the MGM for the Cinco De Mayo weekend in May 2015.

Any thoughts/advice? I know Floyd will probably box that weekend. Also seen talk of Cotto/Canelo on the same weekend!

Am I jumping the gun by booking now or saving some pennys by getting in there before the fight is announced?

    Thanks

Yes you are and you won't save that much so not worth the risk.

I booked last year 1 week in Luxor and flights for 850 that was in January. Tickets are expensive bout $350 but not hard to get

Did the same may just gone for mayweather fight.Booked early myself worked out fine.

Tickets easy to get of ticket master well worth paying extra for the 1500 dollar ones if have the spare coin although in reality not abd seat in the house.

I stayed at the aria persoanlly dont like the mgm but is well worth being close as you have all the build up in the week there.Frequently popped across myself even met the legend that is paul the truth williams and had a photo. The weigh in was bit busy i found so didnt hang around for that.

    Enjoy

    Thanks guys

$1500 is way to much for a ticket. I'll stick to the cheap seats if they dont sell-out.

So you reckon ticketmaster to buy the tickets?

Was there years ago when pacquiao beat De La Hoya.
The weigh in was an event in itself.

Dude, hold off until you hear an announcement of what date and what City Canelo will fight.Should he end up fighting Cotto, which is the rumor, come and visit our great City of New York and there in NO venue in the world better for boxing than MSG and the atmosphere for Cotto fights are the best in the world.
Mayweather is pure boredom in compairisons and New York City is much better in terms of entertainment and fun than Vegas.
    Vegas is so yesterday.:thumbsup

    Ha yes, remember that.
I met Ricky Hatton in a bar later on as well, though guessing I'm not unique in that.

There is a good chance that ticketmaster will sell them, They did for Maidana 2.

    Thanks for the advice.

I do agree that Floyd can be boring. But at the same time I wanna say I watched one of the best of our generation. May only get a few more opportunities.

New York is a lot closer to us in the UK but we are talking about Vegas! Adult Disneyland!!

    Cant decide what to do!!!!!

I went to Cotto vs Martinez and it was a good atmosphere but massively overrated.

It was great to go to a big fight at the garden but it didn't touch any of the big shows in England. Froch vs Groves II the week before **** all over it.
