MEN. Great location, Great size, Great city thats very lively on fight night with loads of places to go. Manchester is a top city. Love it.
Wembley was incredible! of course it was difficult to get out there was 80,000 people there instead of 10,000 that usually attend British fights
M.E.N is great when it's the right fight. Most recently I was there for Hatton/Senchenko and Groves/Froch. But for me, Wembley Arena is the best about right now. But then after the fight there's not many places to go. Whereas with the M.E.N you walk straight out and your at the PrintWorks for a night out. The ExCel.. it's like you walk into an arena, then get guided into a warehouse.
Printworks is full of chavs, as bad as deansgate locks. Northern quarter and the bars round deansgate (Rev de Cuba, epernay) are far far better for a night out in manc like
Wembley was terrible for EVERY fight until the headline & we were in 60 seats & around us there was a group of lads sniffing charlie - in front of everyone - the security included (who did nothing)And quite a lot were also on a joint - to the point when I took my clothes out my grip the day later the mrs thought I'd been smoking one too!no, wembley was terrible!
