A bit bitter are we? Face facts. Hopkins talked smack. He wasn't tough. He faked a low blow to gain time. Someone lost some 'street credit.

Clazaghe might have been a bit dirty last night, but he needs to land about 20 more blows below the belt line to catch up to Hopkins.

Calzaghe is an idiot, calling Hopkins a cheat while admitting to an intentional low blow in the 2nd :rofl.

And basically whether a fight is going Hopkins way or not, he'll foul you with lowblows, punches on the hip on the ref's blindside, headbutts, rabbit punches (again on the ref's blindside) and clinch you every time you start opening up on him.

Whoops, there's one more - when the decision doens't go Hopkins' way he moans like a *****.

Wow, he actually said that? He actually said he low blowed someone because they scored a legit knock down on him? Seriously? I never had any ill feelings towards Calzaghe before, but that's total bull****. That's what the sport is about, what would he do if someone knocked him out, run over their dog?

That is a good point, but we see that sort of thing happen all the time it's pretty much part of the sport...when fighters get knocked down or are in trouble, they foul to get the guy off of him.

I don't like it myself, but it's how it goes.

Yeah, I don't think Cotto would admit it, but he didn't like Judah hitting him or hurting him, so he just landed a couple of clean low blows!

I don't know about that Lennox thing..But you are absolutely right on the other points.
Most of the GB'ers on this site have lost their objectivity when it comes to JC's status as an ATG.
A little bit of nationalism is cool.
But an ATG with one win over a Hall of Famer who was 43 at the time of the fight?
    Let's be real here.
