In all honesty: Sherry, Watson I, Thornton, Close I and II, Benn II, Amaral, Schommer. I thought he beat Malinga and Rocky (Rocchigiani) clearly, by many rounds, and they went on to beat for WBC's Benn and Nunn. Eubank always made opponents look silly early on in fights because of his awkward style, and I suppose could be quite impressive to judges who hadn't seen him before because in some ways he could be very, very slick. But once an opponent found some kind of range and rythm they'd usually out-hustle him. He had a style that you'll never seen on anyone else. Starting punches from out of a punching range, a left hand/jab from a weird kind of angle that was so effective, pulling his upper body back about two feet to avoid a punch if he had to, dancing around the ring strangely sometimes, etc. Very weird, effective style. And after-round posing maybe influenced judges. His eyes always seemed super-fixed, as well. And with his massive jaw, he'd look impressive to those who didn't know what an idiot he was out of the ring. He got a lot of gifts!
Fortunately not. But I hate Eubank and, like the referee in the Ottke-Reid fight, I was drunk at the time. My version of events may be somewhat tainted. :yep
I agree with most of these. I had Benn and Watson ahead- just. Sherry ahead after the headbutt stoppage, Amaral and Schommer were two of the worst verdicts i've ever witnessed.
