paul hodkinson had a great all action style and was a lovely clean puncher with big power.
Nigel benn was ferocious, hamed was great to watch, a featherweight kayo artist.
LLoyd honeyghan was all action and I liked the big hitting pat barrett. Ricky hatton was a classy fella.
I liked frank brunos determination to become champion, an inspiration to everyone really to keep chasing the dream.
I liked lennox lewis up to the mcall fight before he got gun shy

Keep being his errand boy, because unless gofers like you highlight his posts I never have to suffer reading them. I consider him less than pig sewage, which is why I have him and the rapists poster boy ( asser 69 ) on ignore.

But I am quite happy allowing you to be his little lapdog. LMAO

Make sure he gives you an especially meaty bone at the weekend.

    There's a good boy.

Are you sure about that choice?

Comes across as a very bitter and twisted fighter, more so against Eddie Thomas than even Duran.

Buchanan isn't bitter about Duran, Thomas or any other boxers including Jim Watt which surprised me going by what I'd read.
Buchanan is a gent and a credit to British boxing

Big fan of Ken Buchanan. One of my early favs just as I was getting into boxing. Laguna 2 was a rare tv broadcast back then and it was an awesome fight. Then came Duran, of course (another tv fight) and he took a whipping, but he took it like a champ. Was ready to continue after the low blow but for some reason the ref stopped it.

John Conteh - My favourite British fighter. Skills and toughness in abundance.

Ken Buchanan - Arguably, along with Lennox Lewis, our best ever boxer from Britain. Which brings me too -

Lennox Lewis - Not only Britain's best ever heavy but one of the best, period

These are the tip of the iceberg for me

    You are of course joking.

Buchanan was born with chips on both shoulders. Even his own father said he convinced himself that ALL the other kids on the housing estate he grew up on hated him, when they didn't. He has carried that paranoia throughout his life, to the extent he convinced himself that Eddie Thomas ripped him off, although again his own father claims Thomas did no such thing.

For christs sake the guy ended up losing everything finishing up an alcoholic in an Edinburgh bedsit where he was attacked with some kind of weapon, before it finally dawned on him, that perhaps he was to blame for his problems, as opposed to ANYONE, and EVERYONE else.

Carl Froch. He seems to outdo himself at times. He's a very clutch fighter -- when he is not outclassed, he usually wins. A winning mentality, that weird guard, and the fact that he's a hooker while possessing a long reach.

Never a dull Froch fight if he can help it.
