LMAO! A guy who called himself "money" because he loved making money and wanted to treat the sport like a business apparently turned down a rematch for one of the toughest fights of his career in what was the biggest PPV event in history because Floyd thinks he has nothing to prove? :rofl:lol:

His own dad thought ODLH beat him, and so did many others. Fact. Yet if we believe the above is true, I guess Floyd thought he had something to prove by beating Baldomir, Maidana 1 & 2, Ortiz, Guerrero....:nut

Floyd knew the first fight was an SD, and many thought had Oscar kept up the first 5 rounds he would have pulled it off. Risk vs reward, Floyd didn't fancy that risk.

Chicken Floyd ran from ODLH rematch, Pac took it up and made easy work.

Oscar wanted the bulk of the money, so that was a case of Oscar doing his usual pricing himself out a rematch................

And Floyd was vilified for even thinking a rematch, let's not act like people was giving ODH, the Khan and Devon treatment; therefore May saw no point to the fight...................

This is true. The rematch was supposed to be at 147 since floyd doesn't want to fight oscar at 154 again. Floyd suddenly backed out and took his leave. Now *****s are saying that pac drained oscar at 147, never mind that pac moved up two divisions after fighting just one fight at 135, not knowing it was supposed to be floyd's slot. Oscar was going down at 147 for floyd, not pacquiao.

So why did floyd demanded that the rematch should be at 147 then?

Think of the complete lack of credit Floyd would of got for beating the Oscar that fought Pac at 147.... smart move by Floyd to not accept a rematch with a zombie

All Oscar's idea, he even went down to 150 to fight Steve Forbes to prove he still got it at the lower weights, ....he didn't...by the way Floyd turned down the rematch so Oscar was free to negotiate how ever he saw fit against Pacquiao, obviously Oscar thought 147 in reality 144 was the place to be for his Walking Dead audition...

Oscar was on record that floyd would not do the rematch if it's not at 147. Floyd was on record basically complaining that the first match all has oscar's terms including the weight (154), gloves, split, etc. and he would not accept oscar's terms for the rematch. The 147 was basically floyd's request only to back out of it.

With the way pac approached that fight, no way oscar would touch pac. He was too cautious but fought brilliantly, darting in and out of harms way. Besides, oscar was already on the downhill against floyd and the only reason he lost is he got tired midway and stopped jabbing. Btw, are you suggesting that pac should have moved up 3 divisions instead of 2? That's like floyd moving up and fighting at 175 now. He couldn't even fight golovkin a weight division higher.

Oscar claimed there's a rematch clause with a deadline. And when the deadline approached, floyd retired to escape the clause.
