I wonder if Tommy has any kind of a straight left hand? Never really paid much attention to him.

 

There's a reason Arce's has rebuilt himself in Mexico exclusively and this fight is taking place in his hometown... This fight is a set-up for Arce to be the first five (?) division Mexican champion.

Arce is obviously on some kind of performance enhancing drug to aid in his last gasp run in the sport. I love the guy but he was bloated and medicore looking two weight divisions below where he is now. :huh

Don't be surprised if Arce gets in close and is allowed to rough Johnny up, basically do the normal Arce thing where he beats the **** out of you while the ref slaps your hands down so he can... continue beating the **** out of you. Check out the Carmona fight from last year.

Arce can be stopped but you literally have to beat him half to death... The only fighter who has done anything like laying him out in short order was Donaire.

Gonzalez also doesn't like it to the body in my opinion, maybe Arce's best asset.

Check out Jhonny's loss to Penalosa from several years back. He was leading by a mile, completely in control. A single body shot took him out of the fight.

The Main event between Barthelemy and Saucedo is such a CRAP fight, Showtime will put on any rubbish nowadays.

Martirosyan vs Nelson is a very good fight though and easily better then the Main event in every way.

Anyone know when the Arce vs Gonzalez fight will start?

 

Dawson looks shot, he needs to retire as he no longer has it any more.
