Can someone explain to me why this fight was stopped?

    You sure?, I thought the ref stopped it because his opponent wasn't drunk enough.

    Calzaghe seemed to have recovered nicely from that shot though.

    I didn't care much for the stoppage either.

    That's not Byron Mitchell.

    I didn't think the Byron Mitchell stoppage was that bad. He was hurt and taking a lot of clean punches.

    Terrible, bizarre stoppage. Joe was gonna stop him anyways but very strange. I'm sure this will embolden the Calzaghe haters to come out in full force
