froch has been outboxed before, and has taken over, he did it against groves with 2 stoppages.

Nope if anything Groves was the one beginning to get a foothold in the fight. He'd won the prev 2 rounds stunning Froch in the 6 and rocking his head back with jabs and also winning that round if I remember correctly,

People on this forum love adding "Ducking" to threads, even with a boxer like Froch who will go down as the bravest boxer in this era. It's a prize fighting sport and can he do the numbers against Degale? Has he got anything to prove, especially against Degale who hasn't beaten a top top SM yet? In all honesty, Degale will give Froch plenty of problems, but does he need it in this time of his career. The answer is a big fat no, unless of course a big purse will be produced and no Vegas fight happens...

This is boxing. This is what happens. Sometimes your favourite fighter, who you pretend you didn't travel to Wembley to support, gets KO'd 2 times in a row because he isn't tough enough over 12 rounds.

I Would not say he is ducking him just want's that fight in Vegas but if that does not happen then DeGale would be his biggest option as in payday, but i think it would be his last resort.

It never even entered my mind that Froch was ducking DeGale.

DeGale was/is a coming fighter, he's not quite there yet and certainly wasn't a year or so ago when this kind of talk started.

He Hasn't EARNED the Right yet to fight Froch, nor is he good enough to do what Froch has done.

IF these are the fighters (DeGale, Fury), people are seriously putting forth as champion's, man stand in the Grave Yards and listen for that "Whirling" Sound!!!

He is no doubt about it. Quick hands quick feet, lefty looks awkward as hell to fight

But then again so were Taylor, Dirrell, Bute etc and Froch normally comes up with a win. I think froch would be able to grind him down get a close points win maybe.

In fairness what's DeGale done - lost to groves closely. Looked decent against Gonzalez but hasn't beaten anyone close to the top tier yet...If Carl can earn a packet in Vegas call it the ball game its job done. He doesn't prove anything by beating DeGale hes already wiped out one pretender to his domination of being Britain's best SM of this generation (after JC) beating DeGale as well would be a hell of a statement but he doesn't need to

    LOL

Froch ducking Degale ive heard it all now. Degale was struggling to fill small venues Froch has just had 2 fights vs Groves. Who was Degale fighting of note If anyone deserves to now choose where and who he boxes its Froch.

Personally would like to see Froch have a fight in vegas and then maybe fight Kessler if he has a tune up. Dont want to see Degale VS Froch.

Froch should maybe vacate IBF if he plans on retiring in 18 - 24 months and just have the 2 fights with whoever he wants. As for Degale he needs to keep active and oppopsition wise get some names under his belt
