    Morales and Barrera were great.

Morales gets a pass for PED's while condemning others because people love him so much, but whatever.

While I think they can be slightly overrated (anyone who thinks they're a top 50 ATG is crazy), I'd say generally they are properly thought of.

MAB and EM were very beatable fighters yet they are constantly mentioned as this holygrail that makes Pacquiao a bonified ATG. Hey Pac has had a great career but beating MAB and EM (especially at the time Pac fight them) is not that great an accomplishment. Lesser fighters have beat MAB and EM before Pacquiao. Back in the day I enjoyed watching MAB and EM fight but it is easy to see their flaws and limitations as fighters.

So? But did he win? Yeah Morales is willing to take a beating just to land a few punches or win a few rounds. Hell of a heart but I wouldn't call him the smartest of fighters or the most skilled. The guy fights on heart and that has many of you confused about what greatness is.....

Best ATGs of our era, huh? I think you're forgetting several who clearly rank above them including Hopkins, Mayweather and Pacquiao. :deal

In every era there are 1 or 2 Atges (Duran, SRL) and a couple other boxers who are great but not top 50 ATG (Hagler, Hearns, Benitez) Morales, Barrera and Jmm fall into that last category and a few people might think one or two of them make it top 50 if you dont agree with this then you're one of the very few out there who doesnt as most people from what Ive seen on the forum think the same

Have u actually watched morales fight and not just the pac highlights?:lol: A loss doesn't mean ****. All the greats have losses because all the greats dared to fight the very best. Let me guess you must rank sven ottke and calzaghe over ali, duran, etc because of their undefeated record.

the morales that beat Pacquiao back in 2005 is not past prime
WTF u guys talkin' about, that morales just beat 6 fighters
that includes Ayala, Hernandez and Chavez and you guys says he's past prime (48-1) at the moment that time LOL then the lost to Barrera came and he's past prime? Only 28years old at that time with 2losses only coming to MAB

And they say a shot Morales beat Pac. How does that look on Maidana who was supposed to annihilate an old even shotter Morales who was not fighting at his best weight? Yes, that Maidana that gave Floyd his toughest fight.

His timing in that fight and against Garcia was probably the best I've ever seen, very smart fighter

he used both hands. I thought you were a pac fan, if that is the case you would had seen many of his fight pre 2008 which means you would know he used his right MORE than he had used it in the past decade.

the problem with him is he uses the same 2 combos every round of every fight. and EM was great, mab truly wasn't on that level, couple levels below EM JMM and even Pac.

    in order,
    EM
    JMM
    Pac
