    You think so? Jones is still a big draw in the usa, I am sure more would buy PPV Jones Calzaghe than Pavlik Calzaghe.

    Either way joe can fill a 50k stadium alone in the uk

    He defiantly could but with Jones as a dance partner it will do well over 600 k in ppv's in the US alone ..Pavlik brings no audience that size ..

    Jones is the obvious fight before retiring.

    Like others have said he deserves it. For the purists Dawson is probably the toughest fight out there but most of the general public (especially over the UK) don't know who the hell he is and what's he going to gain from it?

    People forget he's 36 now and has been boxing for over 25 years.

    He's 45-0 and still doesn't have the cash that he deserves. Jones will give him this and afterwards he can retire undefeated 46-0, rich and go down as an ATG and will fully deserve it.

    well if thats what you people put it then let him have his last payday then, although i don't see how this helps his legacy. Everyone knows jones is shot but for money reason sure take this fight its the best choice.

    Who is this everyone you speak of ? Because I highly doubt Calzaghe is thinking Jones is shot if he did why would they even conisder it ?Oh money thats right ..

    wasn't jones KOed twice? he's not clearly the same even in his last 3 wins. Would you say that calzaghe is better if this fight happens and calzaghe wins? Its clearly not the same RJJ that everyone knows of years ago

    felix trinidad:rofl he came out of retirement and haven't fought at such a higher weight and clearly another past prime fighter

    you said it yourself that a jones fight is money, which is the point of this topic. money, payday..thats all there is to jones at this point.

    Calzaghe only STARTED fighting non-"payday" fighters 4 years ago!

    There's only about 6 guys on his resume that wern't "payday opponents"...
