Other than David Haye - price is the last guy domestically that I would put in front of Joshua if I was managing him! He's rangey, has good power and "could" cause the upset! I would fancy Joshua at the "right time" over guys like fury and chisora Either way - that would be a huge fight and a great one to watch should it ever happen
Cammarelle punked one and the other barely punked.. But I'd go for Price. Price has got the better hands but Joshua has the better feet.
I would take AJ over Chisora after a few more fights - purely on physical grounds. Not sure about Fury. Fury is a predictably unpredictable fighter - he will lose his discipline, he will get knocked down... but he will get straight back up and come back bangin'. For me there's a (little) of the Froch about Fury - they both possess "intangibles" that make them very hard to assess. Froch beating Groves in the rematch was not unexpected, despite Groves being a better technical boxer, being faster, and having more one-punch power - purely because of Froch's sheer toughness and stubbornness. I would not be surprised is Fury develops the same way - digging out wins where he should lose, just because he refuses to stay down. That said, just as a little aside, I really cannot understand the forum members who are full of vitriol towards particular up-and-coming HWs. I personally find them all quite likeable - most just seem to be big, somewhat gauche lumps. For example, Wilder might have a hugely padded record but that's his management's decision and they (might) regret that course - but I don't wish Wilder himself any ill-will, and hope he succeeds enough to awaken US public interest in boxing. A Wilder vs Joshua belt re-unification bout in Vegas in two or three years? Oh Yes!
Based on current form it's hard to go against AJ. He looks like he's unstoppable. BUT the same was being said by many (including me) when Price was ko'ing McDermot, ***ton etc. Biggest test for AJ if it happens. He'll be in with someone bigger than he is, who has serious power in his gloves. I predict AJ would take it by KO in 4th. Close early rounds, cautious but Price tires sooner and gets caught.
AJ would knock him out in the first 2 rounds with ease. price can bang but he'd be too defensive to commit to a shot early, and joshua has the speed and length to catch price early. soon as he lands big price would either fall or retreat to the ropes where AJ would finish him.
Think joshua would win but I can't see them making the fight. Such big risk for not much reward really. At least not yet
Price will be working the doors at some Nightclub in Kirby after this fight... "If your names not down, your'e not coming in"... AJ is class act. Price isn't.
