Maybe a bold statement, but I think he could go far.

who knows, he looks good at the moment, but it all gets very real and different when you face a world class fighter

Decent chins in the HW Division are as rare as white dog ****, hens teeth and anything else that's rare.

The fact is, is that when you're a heavy, you're going to get hit square on the chin by a man that not only has lethal hands, but weighs in excess of 16 stone and knows how to use it. That's a helluva deadly combination...

McCall, Holy, Tua, Vitali, Ike... There's only a few that spring to mind over the last 15 years that seemed un-koable. Everyone else? They've been stopped sometime or another.

This is heavyweight boxing. It's the only division where the rules just don't apply, IMO.

Oh, for me AJ seem's a tad lost when clinching or receiving any punches back up close and personal.

I think he has a decent chin, doesn't panic when people come at him and when he gets hot he covers up quickly. Often smiles when he has been hit, I think and hope he will go a long way

He's looked very good up to now. Last night he looked fast and his punches were sharp and compact. Offensively he is impressive just like Price was before Thompson exposed he short comings.

Though I agree with Brixton Bomber he does look a little lost or awkward when clinching or on the inside. There were a few times when he was prone and just stood in mid to close range and traded with Bakhtov and he was just lucky his opponent was so inaccurate, a good inside fighter would have caught him just standing there like that, he has to work on that.

As for his chin, it seems decent based on what I've seen. I've seen him take good shots in the amateurs so it shouldn't be too much of a liability. But he needs to step up his opposition, he was smiling in there tonight throughout the fight he knew he wasn't going to be tested. Sprott isn't going to test him either, time is right to take him to the next level.

So hard to call when he's blasting guys out.

There's so much more you need in the ring to be world class and AJ hasn't had the chance to show it.

So although it's great he's beating these guy with such ease, we aren't seeing what else he has in the locker. Things like chin, boxing on the back foot, defense, stamina, adapting a game plan and what his heart is like when the fight doesn't start off well.

Personally what Ive seen I think he will do very well. He trains hard and gets good sparring and I don't think Hearn will risk him until he's developed these other parts of his game.

But it's going to be hard to match him slowly. He's already made the top 22 in the world.

Oh and I just wanted to give a mention to that counter right hand he landed last night off the ropes. Brilliant shot!!!!

Price knows how good/bad Joshua's chin is.

I definitley believe Joshua will do a few chicken dances in his career I also reckon stamina will be a problem. Having said that he is a real handfull already.

Iain Lewison said in this week's boxing news that Price had apparently been getting thebetter of Joshua in sparring. I personally think both are very dangerous and vulnerable maybe favour Joshua on momentum.

He has pretty small calves for his massive frame - doesn't mean jack I know, but its a good indicator as to how people usually take a punch and how steady their legs are after being hit.

I actually think he may have a decent chin. He has a thick neck and that usually helps punch resistance where as Price's neck is like a giraffe.

The main issue is stamina as above. When he is taken a 10 rounder, only then will we know how good he is. Personally, I don't think he would be able to fight 36 minutes with that build. For example, If he fought Fury, I could imagine him making Tyson look silly early and dropping him. But Tyson would hang in there and smash him to bits later on.

Arguably the complete opposite of a 'bold' statement.

I think the real question is whether that insanely bulky build will take him 12 rounds, don't want to see flashbacks of Bruno.

Price looked decent blasting guys out in a couple of rounds but as soon as he stepped up he was found out. We say Price stepped up but Thompason was cannon fodder for Wlad and would never realistically be a world champion.
