From what ive saw of both of late Warrington has caught my eye and impressed far more than Selby Billy , styles make fights and i think josh is all wrong for lee
Selby is a different class, Warrington is solid and has potential but has been matched very well and will be hyped because of the income that he can bring via his fan base, Selby has had his critics right the way through and even if/when he wins the world title people will still be slagging him, a shame boxing fans like to emphasise the negatives.
All selbys fights hes had his own way and controlled the pace and distance , no way Joshs workrate and footwork would allow for that to happen imo Billy , Id actually fancy Josh to stop Selby in a simmillar manner to how selby finished stephen smith and john simpson
aye you've had a heavy weekend we man that the only excuse I can think of for. You rofl Lee IMO would be far far to strong for Josh at present, the most important thing in boxing is to control the distance and you seem critical of it? Uhhm atsch
No idea where you are reaching these conclusions. Can't remember the last time Selby has lost a round and Warrington has fought no-one.
So no bigger network exposure for him then?! :!: I epect him to lose the fight against Gradovich, but he might pick up a belt somewhere in the future.
Selby has all the tools, footwork, speed, accuracy, you name it. He'll win a world title at this weight then move up a weight and when he does it would come as no surprise to me if he develops more power, if he does he could become a 2,3, or even 4 weight world champion.
I think Selby will def win an alphabet belt, maybe been two, but he won't beat Donaire or Loma. Not that Hearn would put him in with him 'it's not financially viable' blahblahblah **** off
Warrington himself agrees that selby is a level above. But sayin that, warrington is progressing well and the fact that he hsa stopped 3 out of the past 4 in championship fights speaks volumes to me, especially when you t.i.c that proir to them stoppages he hadnt had one. Without doubt lee selby is a good boxer however i feel hes sailing too close to the wind imo.. making weight is breaking his back and hes taking a gamble. One day this fact may come and bite him on the arse. I dont remember tbe last time i saw a boxer as weight drained at the weigh in as what lee looked last week
He's super talented. Only thing I'd like to see is him step on the gas later on. He did that well on Saturday but in a few previous fight he almost cruises because he's so good. He won't be able to do that against everyone so would be nice to see him with a bit more fire in his belly but that's not a big issue in my eyes. I believe he'll go a long way. I don't think there's deally s featherweight he couldn't beat on his best day.
His eye looked pretty badly marked up post fight considering how dominating he was late on I was surprised but he looks class at time
