Did you see Deontays last fight? Lucas Browne took out Gavern more convincingly ffs, Chris Arreola has knocked out far better competition early doors than Wilder, even KOing Seth Mitchell in a round is more impressive than having Malik Scott take a blatant dive :lol:

Are you even trying to argue that Wilder has better early round wins than Arreola?

Travis Walker, Jameel McCline, Brian Minto, Eric Molina, Joey Abell and Seth Mitchell didn't last as long against Arreola as Gavern did against Wilder

but then Wilder does have that fantastic first round win over Audley Harrison so its pretty close

I suspect they want to buy the rights to the Stiverne/Wilder fight and hyping Wilder up makes it a more salable fight. If Stiverne is sensible he should easily outbox Wilder who is still rather green and hasn't really beaten anyone of note.

Why would ANYONE rate Wilder? He's done nothing but knock out a bunch of cab drivers and construction workers for five years, and even some of these stiffs have had this glass jawed joke on the canvas.

Wilder is a total fraud who's hiding pure china in his chin. Stiverne - or any live body - shatters that glass.:yep

It's beginning to look like Wilder/Stiverne won't even happen at this point....

    Hmm not sure I agree.

Stiverne was down on the cards and taking decent punches - time will tell I don't think either of em a great one has the hype train of being a so call monster puncher

Still Arreola is a 100x better win than anything Wilder has beaten. Even Ray Austin is better than Wilders list of victims

His best win is probably against Harrison which says a lot. However, people want to see if he is a fraud or not and - despite fighting cans - someone with a KO percentage like that is extremely marketable. It's called promoting...

Do I think he is any good? No. Do I want to see his fights? Yes. If he fights someone decent you're more or less promised a knock-out and that's what the vast majority of fans love to see.

Wilder's KO over Harrison isn't that impressive given that Price had sparked him in a round just 6 months earlier.

And after 3 pages someone puts the answer together. The guy can punch...massively

as for gavern fight cant believe anyone thought it was anything other than a glorified spar. Defiantly a chance he can get exposed big time. Not sure Stiverne will do it
