GGG vs the top JMW and MW and SMW

Moving up to SM will be a big step. Bigger men with bigger power that will hurt him. Its a shame that both Froch and Kessler are at the end of their careers, otherwise those fights would be great. Both would be too strong and powerful over a full 12 rounds for him, but it would he good to watch.

I think he would do some serious damage to froch. ggg is far far superior in every department except probably chin. Carl could maybe last into round 3 because of this. I think this one would end early and bloody. I think Carl knows this too. Ward is the only fighter being mentioned that could take him.

 

In my opinion, Golovkin KO's N'Dam, Dirrell, Cotto, and Quillin, the first three with relative ease. He wins a decisive decision or stops Chavez Jr.

I think Lara, Andrade, and Alvarez all have a decent shot but I wouldn't pick them with any confidence even if I convinced myself they matched up well with further review.

Froch has the second best chance and I'd probably pick him while Ward is the only guy 154-168 who I would pick with any sort of confidence over Golovkin.

I think he destroys Abraham. At 168 Groves and Kessler would stylistically mesh for some epic action and I think they'd have a chance better than Abraham and almost all of those 154-160 fighters.

While he hasn't fought too many fighters of any real note and one could argue most of these guys named would be his best victory and even N'Dam would be his third best, I do believe Golovkin is the goods and his style is tough to see anyone faring well against it for now based on what we've seen. Once again, he is currently overrated in terms of resume as several of the above mentioned are clearly above him in a P4P-ranking sense. How I view his H2H potential at the moment is different than that, though.

 

most of frochs opponents have been quicker, better boxers with better balance etc, he still finds a way to win most of the time.

I'd say froch vs GGG is a good toss up fight, I like both so would be happy to see it. GGG will be conceding 4 inches roughly in both height and reach + around 12lbs on fight night, which could make the difference. If GGG does blast through froch he really is something special
