For people to believe that GGG will simply blow away Cotto is hating and not respecing true HOF skills. Cotto will not simply be blown away by anyone.

For Cotto vs Canelo I favor Cotto. Against stiff competition Canelo has looked less than stellar. He barely got past Trout and Lara and Mayweather boxed circles around him. I'm not saying Canelo can't step up and beat Cotto, but I think stylistically Cotto should be favored. Only people who beat Cotto are volume punchers who can take his shots. That's why Margarito (loaded gloves or not) walked through Cotto's best shots and that's why Pacquiao blitzed him. Even Clottey gave Cotto a ton of problems because of his strong chin and effective pressure (when he actually used that pressure). Trout was simply a stylistic nightmare combines with lackluster training for that fight. Only person to outbox Cotto is Mayweather.

For Cotto vs GGG, I favor GGG. I believe 9 times out of 10, skills trump physical attributes. I believe Cotto is more skilled than GGG. However, I believe GGG's physical abilities would be too much for Cotto in this case. I don't think Cotto gets blasted in the first 3-5 rounds like some people are saying. I believe Cotto would give GGG his toughest fight to date, but in the end this fight would be like the Margarito fight all over again, only this guy doesn't have to load his gloves to be devastating.

Key thing to keep in mind when it comes to either fight.....Can Cotto hurt Canelo or GGG? If he can't, he has lost both fights. If he can hurt either one, he can beat them.

GGG is an overrated fraud who has fought nobody....I got Cotto winning by KO in the 11th round.

Sergio was also an overrated fraud so I'm glad he got literally beaten into retirement by Cotto....Sergio was HUGELY overrated for years...

One thing Canelo doesn't lack is heart after Cotto why wouldn't he fight him at 160. Regardless if its 154 or 60 Canelo beats GGG although I can see Canelo making his first defense vs Chavez jr before facing Gennandy.

People are really overblowing the cw thing only reason he's come in at 155 is because he isn't fighting for a title so he doesn't have to be 100% on weight. Plenty of fighters come in 1/2 a lb or a 1lb over in non title fights so why does Alvarez get so much flack for it.

Not at 160...GGG will go down to 154 just for the recognition of fighting a guy as big as Canelo...yep chances of GGG dropping down are slim even if he says he will. My point being I doubt Canelo/GGG fight

At 160. Alvarez can barely make weight and I'm sure he'll want whatever advantage he can get even though it won't save him
