There have been lots of awesome punchers in boxing history and in all different weight classes. Who do we think is the best of the bunch? I think Carlos Zarate is one name that certainly deserves a shout.

    Wow, tough to call.

Off the top of my head, I've never seen anyone be able to starch a fresh opponent with one shot the way Julian Jackson could. I know that he had over 20 count-out KO's in his career, which is incredible.

But there are so many candidates...Zarate as you say being one of them.

Thanks for the response friend. Julian Jackson is certainly another credible mention.

satterfield did hit harder than langford because i don´t think that langford did hit harder than marciano, and according several guys, satterfield did hit clearly harder than marciano.

A classy and informed shout-out in honor of some overlooked destroyers. Thank you.

Joe Louis had a pretty good punch....
Tyson from his first fight to his last threw bombs, I don't know how Danny Williams didn't get KO'd, he just held on to Tyson after he got rocked in those first 2 rounds.

For the lighter weight classes, Julio Cesar Chavez threw bone crushing shots. Watch that Chavez - Taylor 1 fight. Like Larry Merchant said, "Chavez would take 3 (punches) to land 1." And it's true, and Chavez's 1 punch was almost always more damaging than his opponents 3 punches.

An excellent puncher at 185/190lbs,better than others around that weight ? :
    Langford
    Satterfield
    Sheppard
    Dempsey

Its a moot point, I think most would go for Langford as the superior p4p puncher.
Are you going to mention me in all your future posts , make me famous?

    ps.
Sorry I have to refuse your request for a pair of my dirty boxer shorts. I confine myself to only impersonal contact via typed posts , to comply with what you ask would only add fuel to the flames of your growing fixation with me.

You're still young, I'm an old man, dont throw your life away in pursuit of the unattainable.

I'm sure you will meet a nice young chap, but at the moment you're looking for love with the wrong guy,and in the wrong place.

    Naseem Hamed.

Manny Steward said he was P4P a much harder puncher than Lewis.

I think it was against Sergio Liendo, Hamed hit him with an uppercut, danced around, hit him again and knocked him spark out.

Eduardo Lausse and Florentino Fernandez should be noted as well.
