    Quotes from Emanuel Steward

“Wladimir is gonna be the one I don’t think I could train a man to beat the way he is. I’m serious. I’ve never had a fighter – I went from Holyfield and all the guys I’ve worked with, never, Lennox – Wladimir is a very, very committed, very difficult fighter to beat. Because he won’t let you fight him. He makes you fight what he wants you to fight. But the biggest thing which I think people are not looking at is his speed for a big man. Tremendous speed. Foot Speed. He can move in, explode, move out, move back in, explode, and I’ve never seen anyone that could…move in and out and be in perfect balance”

"Wladimir has better one-punch knockout capability than Lennox"

"Wlad has the best footwork, coordination and balance of any fighter I ever worked with. He’s the most accurate, single-punch knockout guy I have ever seen. A guy can be completely fine, not hurt, and Wladimir can put his lights out with one shot."

"Wladimir’s coordination is better and he is the most powerful natural talent than any other heavyweight I have worked with."

"In terms of jab, Wladimir is the best and after him I would put Lennox. In terms of boxing arsenal, Wladimir is better than Lennox."

Clearly he said that before shot2**** 40something year old corrie joined Steward in heaven,

because when 40something shot2**** never achevier corrie sanders arrived at the pearly gates, then Manny DID have a man in heaven next to him that he knew could utterly destroy wlad in seconds.

So you want to go down this road do you?

Here's Manny openly admitting Wlad wasn't good enough to take on Chisora

And we all saw what happened. Wlad pulled out a day before the fight:lol::oops:

So with this 'great jab' and everything, he still wasn't good enough for Chisora who Fury beat when he was an inexperienced, tubby young novice:rofl

Do you honestly believe Manny would of said those things if Chisora was about to fight a prime Lennox Lewis.
Do you think Lewis would of ducked Dell Boy Chisora:patsch:lol::oops:

How about Manny saying Chris Byrd wouldn't even be hired as a sparring partner for Lewis.
But years later when when Byrd was beyond shot , Wlad fought him to become HW Champ and is Wlads best career win:rofl:patsch

The quotes by trainers about their fighter hold absolutely no water to any sensible boxing fan.

Like he's really gonna say "he's good, but not as good as Lewis."

You cannot be that stupid. It's like when fighters who have been KOd multiple times go 12 with a mediocre fighter and say "he's the hardest hitter I've ever faced.":rofl:patsch

The only attribute Wlad is better than Lewis at is Speed.

Power - equal (Shot Lewis kept prime Vitali in check. Vitali is stronger than Wlad, I don't care what Steward said)
K.O power - Lewis right hand is better than anything in Wlad's arsenal.
    I.Q - Lewis
    Jab - Equal
    Chin - Lewis
    Stamina - Lewis

Prime Lewis would knock out Chisora 10/10 times

Wouldn't have nothing to do with that fact that Lewis was terrified of southpaws and ducked them his entire career.

Wlad KO'd Byrd twice and took a belt from him both times, Lennox vacated his belt rather than face Byrd :rofl

Did he, or did he not vacate rather than face him? Facts are facts.

In all honesty I wouldn't really argue with that but the issue with Wlad isn't the fact he doesn't have the tools because I believe he is more naturally gifted than Lewis as an athlete but he doesn't utilise the tools to be at his most effective.

Here's another quote from Steward prior to the Haye fight.

"I said that he was my best heavyweight. Because he did accomplish and do things that Wladimir has not did. He had big fights, he knocked out opponents. Wladimir has more talent, but the one that you have to give the credit, to the people who have actually beaten good fighters. And Lennox beat more good fighters than Wladimir has at this stage, although Wladimir has more talent than Lennox. But he has to actually not only just show that he has talent, he has to actually demonstrate his talent. Not just hold back, hold back, and only knock out people when I go crazy and curse him out because he will not let his missiles go. He's got to come out and be more aggressive this time himself, and not be too intelligent, too conservative, too analytical. He's playing a chess game -- he's got to be more natural. If he does that, he could be one of the best heavyweights ever. At this stage e has not did it. I'm hoping he will do this in the fight coming up."

And that's the issue, Wlad has the tools but he doesn't put it all together. We saw how timid he was against Haye and negative against Povetkin it's because of this and Lewis superior inside game that Lennox would almost always beat Wlad.

I have no doubt Wlad would win, by knockout. If they were both trying to hurt each other, which would never happen.
