Yes, he does have the power to hurt Kahn, and he won't need to knock him out to win.

Khan is a front runner he looks good for about 4 rounds after that he comes back to earth and is very beatable, he can't maintain his speed for the course of a full 12 rounds. PBF will feel Khan out and by round 4 will start walking Khan down and putting it on his no defense having ass. He will break Khan down and outbox him down the stretch also Khan has suspect stamina he starts to push his punches and always looks like **** late in fights remember that. PBF will own his ass in the championship rounds.:deal

    - Mayweather's last opponent with speed and foot work was Judah back in 2006.

    - A 39 years old Mosley who was inactive for 15 months before the Mayweather bout.

Which is why at this point Freddy Roach would not consider letting this match get made since he doesn't train Khan anymore but still knows both his and Pac's strengths and weakness' and knows who really has the advantages in that one:think

Is this a serious thread? As long as he don't see the punch coming, you don't need to much power to put Khan on "mad cow disease" legs.
Even a slow and tired Maidana still managed to make Khan do the bambi shuffle in those last few rounds.

LOL at mayweather beating a fast guy like khan on the inside. To get inside he will have to take risks and eat shots. We all know he never takes risks.... Now before you say peterson and maidana got inside those dudes are not defensive minded fighters and didn't mind taking punches. Mayweather reacts to any attack because it's in his instinct.

He ain't getting inside of khan and if he can't hurt khan I see khan's speed and movement to beat mayweather by decision.

He has enough power to hurt Khan but he doesn't throw a lot of punches, doesn't fight offensively or try to hurt opponents very often and with Khan's speed and workrate (combined with reasonable power), Floyd might be even more defensive and throw even less punches than usual so there is a good chance he wouldn't knock Khan out even though he probably has enough power and skill to do so.

A well timed counter might put him down but Mayweather won't load up on punches so this ones going the distance. Probably....
