How many sorry, scary, cherry picking fighters in the history of boxing ever made it to #1 P4P by everyone? Not only that, lineal champ in 5 weight classes and 2 at the same time.. But forget about those for a second.. Just answer the first question..

I'll make it simpler.. How many fighters in any sport went through their career protected but made it to #1 P4P? Sounds almost impossible.. You have to beat someone to be #1.. Canelo had 40 wins before he could legally drink but never even hit top 5 P4P...

It's unfair to undermine his entire career by looking at who he didn't fight, because he did make great fights. I don't think it's debatable that he's a future first ballot hall of famer. Even his most ardent critics give him that. He's universally recognized as the best fighter right now.

It is equally asinine to claim he's TBE when he didn't fight everyone he should have regardless of the politics involved.

He doesn't endear himself to fans. He does just enough to win. He's despicable outside of the ring, but he is an ATG.

Truth is, there are much more interesting things going on in the world of boxing right now.

It definitely has been since his after his "retirement" In his early days he was way more entertaining and willing to face the best there was to offer. Now, neither are true.

    I agree.
The best thing that could have happened to Floyd's career and us as fans would have been for him to lose the first Castillo fight.

He doesn't have to fight a fighter who's been KO three times stupid.

Of course Mayweather is P4P #1 when back in 2007 he took 2 years off when the Welterweight division was Hot and also Mayweather only fought ONCE in 2009, 2010, 2011 & 2012.

He knows when to come back and fight these ''champions''.

If Pacquiao fought the same version of every Mayweather opponent at the same weight which Mayweather fought them, how many losses would he have? :think
