as a pacfan i did not get mad at marquez for doing it. i just find it hilarious and i was a little sympathetic with marquez at the same time. he is now forced to begging a fight with pac after pac took his belt. he deserves a rematch due to the closeness of the match but it's not like pac doesn't have a plan already of fighting for a belt at 135 before the marquez fight.

right now, even after a loss, his stock is even higher than before. he could use that as a leverage to land a fight against other champions. why waste time waiting for pac?

You guys are just assuming that JMM is wasting his time "waiting for PAC" , from what I hear he's already moved on and is looking for other options right now.

And to be fair to JMM he only asked for a rematch two weeks after the JMM/PAC fight and it's you Pac fans who are still talking about it! Maybe it's you who need to move on!

The fight that should be made is Pac/MarquezIII. I don't know how anybody can justify the fight with Diaz. David Diaz shouldn't even be champ right now, he lost to Morales.

That video, i saw it and it was live on philippine national tv. JMM, i don't know but do you think he develop a personal hate? i mean, he's not very polite he did that "were are the papers, sign the papers" on front of everyone and i don't know if he was joking but i didn't find it funny nor the people around him did. In fact most in the background including pac if you will observe had a fake smile when JMM did that.

If I were JMM I would fight Campbell, if he wins and Pac wins then a 3rd fight between Pac and JMM should happen. I don't think there were fighters in boxing history ever to have 3 championship fights in 3 different weight classes (126, 130, 135) If I am not mistaken this will be the 1st in the history of boxing, and it will definitely be a feat that will be hard to duplicate.

I believe Barrera and Morales already did it in their triology. First fight at 122(WBC & WBO belt), second at 126(WBC), and third at 130(WBC).

when it comes to watching it live and actually being at the fight with a rowdy crowd, surrounded by lovers and haters on both sides is totally diffrent then being at home with friends all agreeing to the same thing. its like baseball boring but more informative at home were the announcer controls what you see (depeding on which one you listen too) but fun and rowdy in the stands.

And in this rematch PAC won the crowd but razor thin lost the fight. after the fact. totally diffrent views depeding if you were there or not. one round on tv looked like JMM won the rd but at the fight it felt he was a cornered animal just surviving. another RD it looked as if JMM was getting the best of pac on TV but when the bell rang at the fight pac just walked away like nothing happened with a smile on his face. a judge would be hard pressed to give the vote to JMM during that rd when JMM even though won the round looked like he been through hell and back while pac who lost the round clearly looked like he just got a boo boo. The RD were JMM wobbled pac hard! PAC had a smile on his face on TV but at the fight the bell rang and he looked tossed up in that corner even off when walking to the corner .2 diffrent views that you dont see just watching the fight on TV

alot of analyst who watch the play back are just arm chair generals its always diffrent on the battlefield

The outrage from the Pac fans in this forum is that JMM actually had the audacity and the balls to confront Manny Pacquiao in his very backyard and tell him in front of his very fans that the people wanted to see them fight a third time.
......the reports are that JMM was cheered by the Pinoy fans everytime the camera tuned to him during the boxing card that he attended.

I dont know for certain, but I get a sense that some of Pac's countrymen lost some respect for him when he told JMM "anytime, anywhere!"......but then excuses himself from a third match with Marquez by saying it's up to his promoter and how negotiations go, when its so obvious even to most Pinoys that Pac wants absolutely nothing to do with getting schooled a third time against JMM.

Personally I cant blame Manny Pacquiao. Why in the hell would he want to get schooled yet again, and take the risk of actually having honest judges judging their third fight for a change.

For JMM, I say anyone of them.....Valero, Guzman, Soto, Campbell, Casamayor, and to me the easier fight that would sell would be a matchup for JMM against Juan Diaz.

Juan Diaz imo is an easy target for a technician like JMM who is a master of the uppercut.

I've been hearing that Juan Diaz will fight Joel Casamayor.....
.....If JMM's intentions are to invade 135 lbs and follow Pac, he should maybe take a tuneup at that weight in a non-title fight, and then take on the winner of Juan Diaz-Joel Casamayor!

After JMM's two victories over Pac(IMO), I'm convinced JMM was the better of the four(JMM, MAB, PAC and MOrales) but unfortunately for him, he had the least appealing boxing style to the average boxing fan and therefore was always in Mab and Morales's shadow.

Consequently, his resume is the least significant of the 4 and IMO he should forget about Pac for now and take advantage of the few years he might have left in boxing and build on his legacy.

As you mentioned, going to 135 and beating Casa or Campbell would make him a 3 div champ and closer to JMM/PAC 3 it that's where he chooses to go afterwards!

I have to disagree on this one. I think Diaz's much bigger, and more active and busier than any of JMM's previous fights.

If JMM had difficulty against Pac, I expect he will have a hellicious time defending against the onslaught of the younger Diaz.

Don't forget, JMM is not young anymore, and he will be fighting a guy who used to fight at 140 division.

I'd say Diaz late TKO or a UD.
