on the first point i am not sure what to think as i hadn't given it much thought...where does eubank officially rank among european ranked middleweights?...i think i read no. 7 - does the EBU consider top 10 or top 15 as official contenders ?

as for the bookies....they do get it wrong sometimes.

People believing hype and going for eubank causing the prices to drop.

The odds are about what I'd think for this fight. Regardless of records I think it's a real 50/50 fight

People getting way to exited over Eubank, Billy beats him with ease over 12 rounds

Yes, Eubank can punch a pad very hard, but when was the last time BJS got clipped?? (he doesn't) because he has great footwork and movement - which is what wins this fight

The only way billy does not win this fight, is if he decides to trade, which will take away his main assets and play into the hands of jnr

    Exactly.

The boxer will win this. BJS has told us how he plans to tackle Eubank jr: by playing a frustrating game of 'eat the jab'. He has the speed, both hand and foot, and movement to do exactly this. What can Eubank jr do against this? Not a lot. He doesn't have a good defence, has a low work rate and slow feet, all of which makes for being outpointed by a wide, unanimous decision.

It might end up being quite a tedious spectacle actually.

I think Eubank jr will regret not having more testing fights before stepping in the ring with a more experienced and well-drilled boxer such as BJS.

Where has he shown he doesn't have a good defense? OK you can say low work rate since he's never needed to fight at a high one so far. He's unproven in that aspect but that doesnt mean he cant last 12 rounds.
Slow feet? Err no I don't think so.

Eubank beats him easy... BJS cant punch snow off a rope, Eubank can literally walk through his shots and pummel him into submission

All these people saying Eubank aint fought anyone, well who the hell has BJS fought? Nobodies, thats who

BJS doesn't need to bang, that's not his strength.

His boxing ability, footwork and movement win this fight

Billy can make this fight as easy as he wants if he sticks to a plan, which IMO will be boxing on the back foot, making jnr miss and punishing him

The question is, can he do it over 12? - the answer is yes as wev'e seen against Ryder and Blackwell . The problem is if he tries to go to war...
