I think it's more a case of getting a payday. He can lose and still have a grudge match with Stuart Hall that will garner plenty of interest.
i think you underestimate jamie mcdonnell look at his wins agianst hall and ceja, and beat hall more clearly than either butller cablerro as well as had an easier time time agianst jamoye
Who is Kameda? never even heard of him, I bet he's crap are else Hearn wouldn't be putting him in with him
So Kameda won anyway. A dominant performance where he lost maybe only 2 rounds, although somehow it was only judged a SD in his favour with all judges having it 115-113 one way or the other. Kameda looked pretty good for most of it tbh......until he got cut, then he looked like **** ! To give Kameda his credit his eye did close quite badly aswell, and he still showed some good footwork. This is an interesting fight, Kameda is a decent puncher to both head and body but not murderous, and certainly a few levels down from Ceja in that regard so I think McDonnell can hang with him there. I think outworking him is the way to go tbh, his punch output went way down when he got cut, if Jamie was to give a few disguised 'naughties with the ed' (as Micky Vann would say) it work work very well in his favour. Interestingly Steve Farhood was speaking about this fight on Showtime so it must be as good as done. Ramos shouldn't offer much opposition to McDonnell anyway so I doubt there's anything to worry about there.
