Who do you want Froch to fight next?

Degale is a harder fight than Kessler and Chavez. Chavez is only know because of his dad and Kessler is shot. If Kessler was in his prime I'd want the trilogy any time. The only fights I'd want to see more than the Degale though is Golovkin or Ward.

 

If froch wants to have the greatest legacy in recent British boxing he has only one option, and that's to fight Andre ward again. Win, lose or draw he's got to fight him again. By avoiding him to fight JCC jnr is a major taint on his legacy, and indeed makes him only slightly better than nah after the Barrera fight.

For what it's worth, as a 36 year old, I think he would be the greatest British boxer of my lifetime if he fought ward again. Not that it matters to him, but not even attempting to avenge that loss leaves a huge black mark against his career. Still better than calzaghes shameful fight against rjj though!

Froch says fighting in Vegas is a box he wanted to tick to round off his career, and of all opponents, he aims for Chavez Jr, a slow middle weight, who enjoys smoking the puff, and trains when he feels like it. Surely if Vegas is such a big tick in the box, then why not have a bout with a tried and tested super middle weight.

 

that maybe true about chavez, but he's the biggest payday there is in the USA, and it'll possibly be a PPV fight. If he fights ward in vegas he'd struggle to even sell out the arena.

Depending how much he has in the tank, he should fight Chavez in vegas, and then fight ward in Uk next summer. With a home ref and crowd I can see ward getting deducted a point or two for his spoiling tactics / headbutts so wouldn't rule out a froch win here, though ward is favourite

DeGale, but Froch aint daft he won't fight DeGale because he knows he gets beat.

 

He deserves one last big payday so Chavez Jr. Not a fight I am interested in really but hopefully he gets a good win, makes some cash then retires letting the younger guys like C Smith, Degale and Groves take up the British mantle on the world scene.

For a selfish point of view I would like him to fight GGG. Would be a great fight but I think Froch loses that one.

How could anyone say Degale is a tougher fight than Kessler ( or Chavez as well). Kessler still looked top notch in the second fight and gave him a close war. Kessler is proven at world level, degale isn't. Degale potentially could be a tough fight.. but we won't know until he gets in the ring with him as his standard of opposition has been so poor. And to suggest Degale beats Froch is just ludicrous trolling .. Froch has proven time and time again what a legend he is by adapting to all different kinds of world class fighters and beating them all. A guy who struggled to beat Wilczewski and hasn't proved himself beyond Euro Level doesn't motivate Froch and rightly so for the career he has had.

Cupid Stunt and all your alts you were so certain George Groves was gonna beat Froch in the second fight you practically dedicated your whole life to trying to drum into people with your alts that Groves was gonna win.. and look what happened there ... your trying do the same thing here lol
