he only has 42,000 tiwtter followers and minimal facebook likes, despite hearn pushing him he isn't as well known as the likes of joshua and campbell, and guy with nowhere near his ability.. Eubank Jnr.

What he has going for him is hes in the british glamour division of super middleweight and is a bug puncher, but his personality is just of a regular average kid.. nothing to make headlines to raise the profile.

Think he's gonna have a good future, but will he be a big name.. I'm not sure.. what do you people think??

If he does it will be because he's some extraordinary talent who beats everyone in the division. Unlikely tho.

He ain't becoming a big name any other way. Like you say, just a normal kid who lets his fists do the talking

my sister follows khan on twitter, (I don't use it) because he's had a baby and cheated on his mrs, and is pictured with some famous people sometimes, she thought he'd retired from boxing! based on that I wouldn't read much into anyones twitter following as its mainly based on their "celebrity" rather than their actual abilities in their chosen sport / profession

back to C smith, for a 14? fight novice, who in the main has been fighting cans, he's got a decent amount of exposure, if he fights degale / groves and wins in the next 2 years or so he'll be a big name.

    Off topic but

    Callum Smith 42k
    Romaeo Romaeo 85k

Sure you didn't buy them Romaeo :lol:

As for Smith I think he can become a big name just needs that breakthrough fight.

Nah, you can tell pretty quickly whether someone has got that IT factor or not. Smith could be a very good fighter but I don't see him ever being a star or household name. Same with Kell.

He needs that big victory over someone of note. Seems like quite a decent grounded bloke as well.

Wholeheartedly disagree with this comment. Froch has become a huge star and he has never even being no.1 in the division. He was still pretty unknown after the super six, he's not exactly likeable either so to say you can tell early on is untrue.

Smith has a way to go before he is well known by casual fans, let alone the public, but if Brook beats Khan in a big fight, he will be a star, especially after Froch retires and Hearn puts his weight behind him.

Froch had way more star potential after 14 fights than Smith does. Waaaay more. He could talk, he was fairly charismatic, etc.

Brook has none of that whatsoever, even if he is a solid fighter.

Scousers get waaay overated by promoters in attempts to make them ticket sellers due to the echo arena.

Liverpool hasn't had (and wont until fowler turns pro) it's own ricky hatton yet and that is what every brit promoter craves.
